Saw the article – Social Media Comes to Higher Education on Yahoo

September 28, 2010

http://education.yahoo.net/articles/social_apps_for_education.htm?wid=7

This is what I am talking about.

I would suggest that you also check out the site http://www.TXTNLRN.com To start learning all you need is a phone no, a text message plan and phone that can send and receive text messages and the desire to learn.

I am passionate about teaching.

BTW, I sent the Math table of two, (as a text message)  to two parents and they liked the format. One parent is going to send the message to their child.

To: Wii Suggestion

August 26, 2010

Hello,
To: the Wii developers.

Suggestion: You have the Wii speak game at this time. Would you consider or do you have plans to create the Wii Classroom?

What I mean is to have Wii Speak, Classroom with different avatars who are learning a subject virtually. There is a teacher and every one has a board on which they can write. Using Wii speak capability, everyone can talk, it is the teacher who moderates the talking in the class.

It would be good to incorporate an electronic pen so that what is being written can seen. Further, having a Wii Robotic arm that does and displays the sign language.

I would appreciate your comments on my suggestion and hope to make it a reality and strike a deal.

Thank you
